Two very different jobs on one product

What's the difference between trim and flower?
Flower is the bud itself. Trim is the material trimmed away during processing — mostly sugar leaf, with some small material mixed in. Lower cost per gram, lower bud density, still cannabinoid-rich because sugar leaf carries real trichome coverage.
Can I smoke this straight, or is it for extraction only?
