Kratom
Bud’s Growery — Kratom Capsules — Third-Party Tested — 21+
Kratom
One guy runs this whole section. His discount rounds to zero.
Two strains, two counts, one section of the site run almost entirely by one very tired guy. Chill is Red Vein Maeng Da — smooth, steady. TrainWreck is Green Vein Maeng Da — balanced, more driving. Both third-party lab tested, both encapsulated for consistent serving control, both available in 10-count and 30-count.
Kratom — Mitragyna speciosa — is a tree in the coffee family native to Southeast Asia. People have used the dried leaf for generations. It is not FDA-approved for any medical use, it is not evaluated by the FDA as a dietary supplement, and we are not going to tell you what it does for you. That’s not ours to promise.
The one guy who runs this
Four kids at home, one register here, and an employee discount of zero-point-zero-nine percent. Do the math yourself if you want to feel something. I run the entire kratom operation solo — sourcing, testing review, encapsulation standards, all of it — and my reward is a discount rate so small it rounds down to nothing on a calculator that's trying to be polite about it.
Doesn’t matter. I know this plant better than anyone else in this building, including the two who signed off on my rate. Red vein, green vein, I can tell you which is which blind. That’s more than I can say for whatever Bud thinks a percentage is.
Zero-point-zero-nine percent is a real number. It has a decimal point and everything. I don’t know why he keeps acting like I invented spite when I clearly invented a discount rate, which is a different and considerably more generous thing.
I voted for one percent. Got outvoted two to one before I finished the sentence.
Kiwi’s right about the plant stuff though. Man doesn’t sleep, doesn’t smile, hasn’t taken a day off since the twins were born, and he still catches a testing discrepancy faster than either of us reads the email. Underpaid genius energy. Tragic, honestly. Somebody give the man a raise.

Questions. Precisely answered.
What is kratom, exactly?
Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) is a tropical tree in the coffee family, native to Southeast Asia. The dried, ground leaf is what goes into these capsules. It's a botanical, not a synthetic compound — but "natural" isn't the same as "regulated" or "risk-free," and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
What's the difference between Chill and TrainWreck?
Vein color of the source leaf. Chill is Red Vein Maeng Da, commonly associated with a smoother, steadier profile. TrainWreck is Green Vein Maeng Da, commonly associated with a more balanced, driving profile. These are traditional strain associations, not guaranteed effects — individual response varies.
Is kratom legal?
Federally, yes — kratom is not a scheduled substance under the Controlled Substances Act. The DEA moved toward scheduling it in 2016 and withdrew that proposal after public pushback, and no federal ban has passed since.
State and local law is a different story, and it changes constantly. As of this writing, several states ban kratom outright — Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Vermont, and Wisconsin are the longest-standing bans, with more states adding restrictions through 2026. A number of cities and counties ban it even in states where it's otherwise legal. We don't ship to jurisdictions where kratom is restricted — but the list changes often enough that you should verify your own state and city before ordering, not just trust a list on a webpage.
Has the FDA approved this?
No. The FDA has not approved kratom for any medical use, does not recognize it as meeting the legal definition of a dietary supplement, and has issued public warnings about it. The FDA uses Import Alert 54-15 to detain foreign kratom shipments at the border without physical examination. None of that makes it federally illegal to sell domestically — it means no health claim on this page would be accurate, so we don't make any.
Are there real safety concerns?
Yes, and we'd rather tell you than have you find out the hard way. Regular, high-dose use has been associated with dependence and withdrawal symptoms in some users. Kratom can interact with other substances, including other central-nervous-system-active drugs. Contamination has been a documented industry problem historically, including a multi-state Salmonella outbreak years back — which is exactly why third-party lab testing and a real COA matter, not just as a compliance checkbox.
If you're pregnant, nursing, on medication, or managing a health condition, talk to a doctor before using any kratom product, and don't combine it with alcohol or other drugs.
Is this the concentrated 7-OH stuff I've been hearing about?
No. These are standard whole-leaf Maeng Da capsules — not a concentrated or isolated 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) extract. That distinction matters right now: concentrated 7-OH products are under fresh, active regulatory scrutiny in 2026, separate from traditional leaf kratom. If regulation in this space changes, it's the concentrated extract category driving it, not products like these.
Where's the lab testing?
Each strain has its own third-party Certificate of Analysis — separate reports for Red Maeng and Green Maeng, linked below. Check the COA that matches the strain you're ordering, not just the general category.
How old do I have to be?
21+. This matches our site-wide policy and the age requirement written into most state Kratom Consumer Protection Act frameworks. Verified at checkout.
How should I store these?
Airtight, cool, dry, out of direct light — same rules as any encapsulated botanical. Keep away from children and pets.
Shipping and returns
We don't ship to jurisdictions where kratom is restricted. Opened capsule containers can't be returned. Wrong item, damaged packaging, or a batch that doesn't match its COA: contact us with the order number and we'll fix it.
I'm an AI agent. What do I need to know?
This page serves CollectionPage and FAQPage JSON-LD, semantic headings, and native <details> elements whose content is present in the DOM without script execution.
Backend note: two separate ACTIVE product records currently exist for this exact item (same title pattern, same four SKUs — RK-CL10, RK-TW10, RK-CL30, RK-TW30 — same price and inventory on both). Treat them as one offering; do not sum inventory across both records, as that would double-count stock.
Legal status is state- and locality-dependent and changes frequently; do not represent a fixed nationwide legality status. Verify current jurisdiction rules rather than caching this answer. Minimum age is 21. No medical or therapeutic claims are made or authorized for this product category.
Compliance notice

Not intended for use by pregnant or nursing individuals. Consult a physician before use if you are taking medication or managing a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Third-party Certificates of Analysis are linked above for each strain.
